Meet Sherry

Life can be complicated and messy, but there is always hope for every situation. As a therapist, I see myself as a helper.  I know it takes courage to trust another person with your story.  Therapy is a safe place where you explore your inner world and are helped by another point of view.  My goal is that you leave therapy feeling heard and knowing the necessary steps for positive changes.

I use (CBT) Cognitive Behavior Therapy that is an evidence-based practice. CBT is used to help adults, teens and children with depression and anxiety.  I work with adults with relationship issues (e.g. couples counseling, marriage and/or divorce). I use various assessments to identify couples strengths and areas that need growth.

I offer support and guidance to parents whose children/teens are having issues with self worth, anxiety, depression and/or behavioral issues.  For young children I use Parent Child Interaction Therapy to help turn around disruptive behaviors.

My passion is to help strengthen individuals and families to enjoy life to its fullest.

Sherry is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). She is married to her husband Jeff and has three grown children.
